public static bool TryGetAllValuesForPropertyChain(out IObservedChange<object, object?>[] changeValues, object? current, IEnumerable<Expression> expressionChain)

View source

Summary: Based on a list of expressions, attempts to produce an array of IObservedChange values representing each step in the property chain.

Parameters

NameTypeDescription
out changeValuesIObservedChange<object, object?>[]Receives an array with one entry per expression in the chain.
currentobject? The object that starts the property chain.
expressionChainIEnumerableA sequence of expressions that point to properties/fields.

Returns: bool -- true if all values were successfully retrieved; otherwise false.

Remarks

This preserves the existing behavior: on early failure, the method writes a single null element at the failing index and returns false.

Exceptions

TypeCondition
System.InvalidOperationExceptionThrown when expressionChain is empty.
System.ArgumentNullExceptionThrown when expressionChain is null.
